Privacy
What this website receives.
The main site sets no cookies and loads no advertising script. It records first-party page views, described below, so a request can be read with the pages that led to it.

Main site
Reading and form interactions.
The forms on request access and work with us validate what you enter and send it to the team's internal messaging workspace, where it is read and answered by email. With the submission they send the page you were on, the page you first arrived on in that browser tab, the referring address, any campaign parameters in the address you arrived by, and the random visitor identifier described below, which lets the team see the pages of this site you visited before writing; the site keeps no copy of its own. Their email links open a draft in your email application; sending that draft is a separate action you control.
Delivery
Connection data passes through Cloudflare.
Cloudflare delivers and protects this site. In doing so, it processes connection data including your IP address and request metadata. That processing is part of serving a page and responding to network requests, including requests for pages on the main site.
Page views
Page views are measured first-party.
Each page records a page view (its address and title, the referring address, campaign parameters, browser language and time zone) with a random visitor identifier. On the main site that identifier is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie; pages under /articles load a first-party measurement script that may also keep it in a cookie. If you submit an email address to receive a PDF, that address is recorded for that request.
